Just came from a fund raising party in Fremont...where there was a lot of food and dancing -Arab style party!- , the best part was dancing with my Mariyah, lol, she loves loud music...and dancing!!It was the first time she behaves when we go out...it's either she is getting used to noises or maybe because I took her furniture -Bouncer- with me :p Something familiar to her :)
All the way to Fremont today, 30 min. drive, the radio was tuned in to her favourite "nonstation"...only loud hissing static!!
It calmed her down, and once I hit the highway she fell asleep enjoying the white noise!
It made me go crazy...but oh well...anything but breaking my heart :D

yeah, it is weird, that white noise soothes babies...
now big boys (men) have same noise to make them relax in their offices...even more weird...

Afaf: She slept twice with the vaccum on!! It really works with her...but like yesterday I got to the party feeling my head dancing...
aw she is adorable mashallah...inshallah as she grows older she will like being out and not make a big fuss...but the good news is that babies who give u a hard time grow into good toddlers..but easy mild babies who never cry and have no problem being anywhere...turn out to be very very busy and active toddlers....my two are the perfect example.....

i guess they claim that the white noise reminds babies of their time in the wombs...so they feel safer!!
for adults it is so noisy...but u can try one of those white noise machines they use for the offices to relax, like water fall or waves...not that bad like vacuum, or nonworking channel....

Today I took her for the passport pic and once she sat down and saw the camera she started laughing!! it was so funny :D
Afaf: The book I read says that the sounds inside the womb are 3 times louder than the sound of a vacuum!!
We think that babies love quietness and it's a mistake! They enjoy loud white noises...and since it makes her calm down I don't mind using it! It annoys me now but one day inshallah I will tell her about it and maybe laugh abt it too :)
