My experiences were bad, so far! I'm worried about the up coming one :s
The first time I visited after marriage was summer 2007. I was EXTREMELY excited about seeing my family! I was shaking the whole time, my stomach was killing me and I just couldn't wait to see them and hug them and all!! I was missing them BADLY!
It turned out to be so dramatic!! I cried a lot once I saw them, they were all laughing and they still tease me about it and about the way I reacted to seeing them :s
Some people in the airport were wondering and actually asked my family: God!! When was the last time you guys saw each other?!
The answer was: 10 months ago!!!
My second trip was last summer, I was NOT ready at all, and travelling with a "Mariyah" was like mission impossible. With the depression I had, it was really bad! I looked miserable at the airport, and I just couldn't wait to get some rest and SLEEP!
Me and my friend Amal talked about our experiences before she went to Jordan last month, and her stories were also funny. Hers were mainly about the way she looked. For her it's more embarrassing because not only her family come to see her at the airport, but also her in laws. Her mom always wondered why she and her two little daughters looked really bad. with dirty or wrinkled clothes.
This year, she decided that enough is enough. She paid extra money to travel through Dubai, where she got to rest and change in a hotel over there before she met her family in Amman. Her trip was way longer but she said -when I called her- that it was worth it.
As for me, and this trip, I don't know!! I don't want to think about it, and to be honest, I REALLY DON'T CARE :DSome women give medicine to their kids to make them fall asleep during the flight, but I won't do it, Even if it will make me look good, clean and neat after the 16 hours flights.
Wish me luck everyone :)

Allah ma3kon w tousali b salameh inshallah.
When I traveled last year, I bought clothes specially for the trip ones that do not wrinkle because the arrival was in the afternoon and I didn't want to hear "what happened to you" loool crying is a must, I started to cry when the plane landed !!
Don't worry, they will understand, it is a long flight and traveling with a baby is not easy.
Good luck to you 7abibti, have fun with your family, and give them our salamat, am sure they can't wait to see you and Mariyah..
Allah ma3kon :)
Look Good!!?
Who cares Nido.. Your smile is slways enough for me :D I miss you habool don't worry about anything like that.. mwa
nidooooo.. i know what you mean! :$ my mom always cares about such things.. but flying for more than 21 hours gives you the indifferent feeling. Even with a stop when you're tired it wouldn't really help.. believe me!
towsaly bil salameh nido.. this is all that matters! enjoy Amman
:x
Thanks a lot :)
I had one of the worst trips ever, but made it safe to Amman hamdillah:))
